What's Next for The Makria Cycle?

Clandestine is currently my pride and joy. It recently surpassed Torsion in terms of word count, and I've gotten a lot of good feedback on it. Clandestine focuses a lot on themes of family, what counts as morally right, interpersonal relationships, redemption and corruption, and a whole bunch of other things.
For me, the most important thing is characterization, so I've been focusing on that. I've gotten to take a deep dive into the heads of my characters and force them to face certain things that will help them grow in the long run. However, I've also had a lot of challenges.
It's been nearly two years since I published Torsion, and I've realized that I want to rewrite it and publish a second edition. I feel like my audience deserves the best, and because of the large cast of characters, it's essential that certain dynamics get established sooner rather than later.
After publishing Clandestine, I'm going to take a break from The Makria Cycle to focus on two side projects and rewriting parts of Torsion. That will also give me the time I need to properly draft and fill in important information for the third and final book of the main trilogy.
I expect the third book to take me just as long, if not longer than the previous two books. It comes with a bunch of extra lore, world-building, and characters that I've had in my head since I was 14 years old. I'm so excited for people to see them, but I also don't want to rush it.
As I move forward, I thank you all for your support and love. It's really comforting to have people keep sending me messages, pictures, reviews, and suggestions about my book. It shows that I've truly made an impact in my small corner of the writing community.
I also want to let you all know that I'm going to start posting book reviews on this blog to encourage you all to check out my rapidly growing list of indie book recommendations and author friends. We're still growing, as we always will, and I hope that you all are excited about what's next for both The Makria Cycle, and me as an author.
Fly high friends!
